Terms & Conditions for Bookely

General Information

These terms of service govern the use of services provided by Bookely ("Company", "We", "Us") via our website and mobile application. By registering an account or booking a service through our platform, you accept the terms set forth below.

Services

We provide a digital booking platform where users ("You", "User") can book services offered by our clients ("Businesses"). Our clients include companies such as salons, clinics, and similar service providers who use Bookely to manage their bookings. Bookely solely provides the booking and payment solution and is not responsible for the services offered by the businesses.

Booking Process and Payment

When a user books a service via the platform, the amount is reserved on the user’s selected payment method. Funds are charged only after the booked service has been completed, or in accordance with the business’s cancellation and no-show policies. In case of a no-show, the full amount of the booked service will always be charged to protect the business’s interests.

Subscription Plans for Businesses

We offer three different subscription plans for our business clients:
  • Monthly Plan: No binding period. Can be canceled at any time.
  • Three-Month Plan: Binding period of three months. Can be canceled after the end of the binding period.
  • Annual Plan: Binding period of twelve months. Can be canceled after the end of the binding period.
Subscription cancellations must be made in writing via email or through the cancellation function on our website at least 30 days before the end of the binding period to avoid automatic renewal.

Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in SEK or USD, excluding VAT. Payment is made through our approved payment methods, and invoicing occurs at the beginning of each payment period. For subscription plans with a binding period, the full amount is charged in advance.

Right of Withdrawal

Since our subscription plans are directed at businesses, the right of withdrawal according to the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act does not apply. The right of withdrawal is only applicable to consumers and therefore excluded here.

Cancellations, No-Shows and Refunds

For users booking services through our platform, the following rules apply:
  • Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  • For cancellations made later than 24 hours before the appointment, the business may charge all or part of the service fee, according to its own terms.
  • In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the booked service will always be charged.
Any refunds are handled directly by the business where the booking was made.

Limitation of Liability

Bookely acts solely as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for the quality, performance, availability, legality, or outcome of the services provided by the businesses. All disputes, complaints, or claims regarding booked services must be handled directly between the user and the business. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our platform, including but not limited to lost revenue, business interruptions, or data loss.

Personal Data and GDPR

We collect and process personal data in accordance with GDPR and Swedish data protection legislation. By using our service, you agree that we may process your personal data in order to provide our services, such as bookings, payments, and customer support.

Changes to Services and Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you by email or by publishing the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or temporarily suspend your account if you violate these terms or use our service in a way that may harm us or our clients. In case of suspected violations, we may suspend or terminate the account after prior notice, unless there are special reasons to act immediately.
